Message The silver jet-hot will take 1400F reliably, above that it can and will slag off of the base metal.
Jet-hot 2000 will take 2000F reliably, but jet-hot still doesn't reccomend coating the inside of turbo manifolds because it can still slag off....
My egt only reads up to 1600F and easily maxes out..... My car cruises on the highway in 5th gear at 1400F - the limit of the silver jet-hot.
